As you know last Friday night was Splitcoaststampers Virtual Stamp Night. What is that? VSN is a challenge that SCS holds every couple of months. Last Friday was the "mini" in which you make 5-6 cards (depends on the coordinators). Each challenge has a hostess (I was the first this time), who posts their challenges at the beginning of every hour. You have 45 minutes to complete your project. To be in the "running" to be chosen as "the winner" in a challenge, you have to upload your project on SCS into the gallery (by using the challenge "keyword").
Here are the cards I did for this VSN mini:
PUNCH YOUR HEART OUT
Four-fold challenge - color challenge, punch [dies okay] challenge (only stamp was the sentiment), ribbon and sketch layout.
I know that's a lot...but they had fun with this one!

WHAT SHAPE IS YOUR HEART?
Card base had to be heart shaped.

LIGHT UP YOUR LIFE
Had to make a luminary...this was the first time I had made one...what fun!

PAPER-PIECE YOUR HEART OUT
Had to paper piece at least TWO items on your card.
I paper pieced her hat, shirt and pants.

TWO HEARTS BEAT AS ONE
Had to use an image with two things "entwined"
Thought this was a great stamp for that challenge!

SLIMMING DOWN
Three-fold challenge - had to use Crumb Cake (Kraft) cardstock, no more than two layers of cardstock and a word of encouragement.
I got this digi stamped image last year at SCS Michigan Mingle in Novi. Knew I was holding on to it for some reason! hehe Wish I would have NOT used the brads for the bear's eyes though. :(

The MAIN event is February 25 and 26. You can get more info HERE.
God bless!
